Laboratory Information System

The software a diagnostic laboratory runs on.

Ordering, specimens, results, reporting and billing — with the quality record a laboratory is assessed on kept as part of the work rather than reconstructed for an audit.

What it covers

The clinical spine

Patients, orders, specimens with a tracked chain of custody, result entry and verification, and released reports.

Departments

Microbiology with antibiograms, blood bank with crossmatching and issue, anatomic pathology, molecular, and radiology.

Quality

Westgard QC, EQA rounds, internal audit and CAPA, competency assessment, method validation, and an audit trail of every row that changed.

Revenue

Invoicing, client price lists, insurance claims, payer and plan records, and medical-necessity checks against the rules you write.

Interoperability

HL7 and FHIR, analyser connections over TCP, serial and file drop, and a dead-letter queue for anything that could not be mapped.

Patients

A portal for reports and bookings, home collection with published slots, and report delivery by WhatsApp or a link that expires.

How it is built

One laboratory cannot see another

Every table is row-level secured on the tenant, enforced by the database rather than by application code remembering to filter.

Its own address

Each laboratory is served at its own subdomain or its own domain, with its own branding, and its patients never see anybody else’s.

A record of what changed

Row history on audited tables, with credentials redacted, so a question about a result six months old has an answer.

Looking for your laboratory?

Each laboratory has its own address, which looks like yourlab.labecosys.alviongs.com. Use the link your laboratory gave you, or the address printed on your report — this page is the platform itself and carries no laboratory’s records.
